We have been invited to perform (compete) in the National Orchestra Cup in Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center, New York City, from March 1-4, 2018. We did not apply for this. An orchestra dropped out and they invited us.

The price quote I have received is $1,070 per student. Inclusdions: round trip airfare from Orlando to New York, ground transportation in NY, three nights in the Westin Times Square hotel. Tickets to a Broadway show. Tickets to a New York Philharmonic concert. Dinner cruise on the Hudson River. National Orchestra Cup performance and clinic.

Cost exclusions would be ground transportation to Orlando Airport and most meals in NY.

I have not accepted the invitation. It is pending the results of this survey. Thanks for your help completing this information.

My concerns are fundraising fatigue (from us and the community) and a late start. On the other side, I want us to strive for excellence, and I don't want to pass up a fine opportunity with an excellent orchestra.
